Make sure to run exit helper #111

The exit() function is never used so the process never exits with anything but return code 0.

Just want to highlight that this causes, for example, travis CI polylint to never fail and seemingly pass the polylint no matter how many errors are encountered.

Should be considered a critical bug. @garlicnation ?
