Update: I was using Chrome Dev Tools in undocked mode for the issuer reported above.
The WebVR Emulator Extension works if it is Docked to the page you are emulating.
You may want to add a note to the codelab stating that user should have Devtools in Docked mode in order to make use of emulator.
You can close this issue accordingly.
Problem:
Manipulating the controls of the WebVR extension in Devtools has no effect on the running WebVR Codelab Application.
I have tried reloading both the WebVR application via the browser, as well as restarting the Web Server but it has no effect in resolving the issue stated above. The manipulating the WebVR controls in emulator do not change orientation or position of objects in Codelab WebVR application.
You may want to update the Codelab to state it is not currently supported by the WebVR Emulator extension. This issue has been reported via the Extension Support section via Chrome Web Store.
Environment Info:
Win 7 SP 1 WebVR API Emulation 1.1.4 Chrome Version: 59.0.3071.86 (Official Build) (64-bit)
