Hi, I tried playing this in the browser with my Oculus, but it didn't work. Is it supposed to work for Oculus and Vive? The project isn't found under the Rift and Vive tags over on the experiments.withgoogle website so I think I already know the answer, but wanted to verify.

EDIT: to give more info, it loads fine in the Rift, but I have no access to any controls. I can look around normally, but the Touch, Remote, nor the Xbox controller seem to be able to be used for menu selection

What browser are you using? It should work on Chromium. But stable Chrome does not support Desktop VR yet. You may also need to press a button on the controller to have it recognized.

I did try it on Chrome, but switched to Firefox when I realized Chrome didn't support WebVR (same as Desktop VR?). That didn't work either. Let me try Chromium and get back to you.

Chrome supports WebVR for Android devices on Cardboard and Daydream. Desktop support for WebVR is not ready yet.

Firefox should work. And Chromium should work too, although again it's experimental and unstable again.

Are you using the Oculus Touch controls? or are you using the xbox controller?

joshytaco commented 7 years ago

Haven't had a chance yet to try Chromium.

@hapticdata I tried both the Oculus Touch controls and the Remote, as well as the Xbox controller. Work perfectly fine in other apps, but was not getting any response within the WebVR app.

Does not appear to have any interaction controls for Windows Mixed Reality Headsets in Microsoft Edge either

Hi! We're trying to feature this in @supermedium. Same issue, it presents OK, but no controllers show up. Can we just add <a-entity laser-controls="hand: right"> and <a-entity laser-controls="hand: left">?
