What does position do? #56

More a question than an issue. I'm looking through the code trying to understand how the Multisampler works.

What does the parameter position (in some parts referred to as offset when multiplied with ncols) do? I can deduce it can be changed by the first potentiometer, but still can't wrap my head around how it changes the synth.

It sets the start position of the waveform output by the device
