TTFAutohint often crashes when hinting glyphs which are assembled from flipped components. This script will simply decompose them.

@m4rc1e good work but this workaround will increase filesizes, so please file an issue on google/fonts repo so track which families need rebuilding with a future fixed version of ttfa :)

'TTFAutohint often crashes': Have you sent a bug report to freetype-devel@nongnu.org? I need a small example font together with a recipe how to trigger the crash so that I'm able to fix this.

Marc if you can clear 3 vf fonts next week then I suggest you pause PR work and get this to WL so he can fix it :)
