@lilasymons, after merging the latest pull request (commit 63f76f1) and creating the font, some unresolved issues with the Stylistic Sets (SS) need to be addressed.
[ ] Accentuated letters are not responding to SS changes
[ ] The capital letters are no longer responding to SS changes
[ ] The fina positional alternate has a regresion. You have mentioned it could be improved to make them only work at the end of the line. That is the expected behavior now.
[ ] Ensuring the ligatures also respond to SS changes
