Are there any planned changes for font weights ? #278

Sorry about this question but we ran in to an issue where font dev changed weights twice within few months and wrecked havoc on the sites we were building. Now we are forced to either change the designs again to new weights or look for alternative.

We would love to use Roboto but have heard that something like this also happened here.

So the question is simple, are there any planned changes in weights that could mess up our sites ?

One of the biggest reasons for this question is that you are missing 600 and 800 weights , and if that is in works than weight changes will be imminent.

Or will you than opt for Roboto v2 ?

Excellent thread on the failures of Google Fonts, I'm also curious about any future plans for Roboto.
