Math symbols −+÷× all misaligned with each other

I've been trying to use Roboto for simple equations and discovered that the math symbol −+÷× have some serious inconsistencies, which are additionally inconsistent between weights. Screenshots are below, but they can be most easily viewed here:

Specifically:

• The bar of the minus isn't vertically aligned with the crossbar of the plus (it's higher)
• Width of the minus doesn't match width of the plus (it's narrower)
• The bar of the minus, crossbar of plus, and bar of divide sign, all have different thicknesses (divide is thinnest, minus is medium, plus is thickest)
• Crossbar of the division sign isn't vertically aligned with the minus or the crossbar of the plus
• Multiplication sign isn't even close to vertically aligned with the other 3 signs (it's way lower)

Alignment issues show up the worst in thin weight:

But they're somewhat present in regular, and then stroke width issues show up:

And then even in black the same issues are seen:
