6 years ago I've just run a diff and the results are off:
mkmks 10656 missing marks 88 new marks 4 modified marks 327160 missing
For this to work correctly you need to run your script on .ufos which haven't had any previous anchor modifications. I can see in the history we already have several commits which have modified the anchors. I would remove all commits after 0a0fd4621fa564a0abf8a33227b1c88820c3424c so delete:
- rename anchors to remove "mark" from name, ie: '_markparenthesses.w2'… …
- remove "mark" from all remaining anchor names
- anchorFix
- rebuild var font
Then run your anchor script on the ufos.
