extra space at the top and bottom of characters in putty and notepad on windows #301

other fonts display the lines continuous

roboto mono: putty_2018-09-24_18-56-54

other monospaced font (liberation mono): putty_2018-09-24_19-00-04

same issue as this https://github.com/google/fonts/issues/1408

I mean there is literally extra space for ALL characters, not just for the vertical ascii lines. see the other attachment I posted in https://github.com/google/fonts/issues/1408#issuecomment-424325670
