Can we multithread our build scripts? #294

Laurence Penney remembered my mention of horribly long build times, and pointed to this Twitter thread that talks about how to multithread Mac shell scripts: https://twitter.com/ArrowType/status/1516423878280724481 This looks promising!

My M1 Max has 8 performance cores (and 2 efficiency cores), and 64 GB of RAM, so there is definitely some potential here.

Oops, super interesting, but I posted this in the wrong repo. Our Science Gothic builds take like one minute or something, they are not a problem!
