[Bug report] cannot scan with phone facing an angle of 30-45 degrees (iOS) #757

Describe the bug plugin does not scan a QR code when the phone is facing an angle of 30-45 degrees

To Reproduce

  1. Open any app using mlkit for barcode scanning
  2. Try to scan a QR with the phone facing a 30-45 degrees angle

It can be reproduced with this demo project: https://github.com/robingenz/capacitor-mlkit-plugin-demo

Expected behavior We expect to correctly scan the QR code, even with the phone facing 30-45 degrees angle

SDK Info: com.google.mlkit barcodescanning

Smartphone: Any iPhone
