Horribly outdated documentation #321

As title says.

Especially true of https://developers.google.com/vr/develop/ios/get-started ... current examples are not even remotely like the ones published in GitHub.

Is this project abandoned, or something?

I've been struggling with this too- it seems the documentation at the link you've provided is for the deprecated GVR iOS SDK. The samples in this GitHub repository use the new GVRKit. Some slightly more up-to-date documentation can be found on CocoaPods. I'm currently writing a Swift project using GVRKit and have been making good progress so I will attempt to open source it some time soon.
