How to install transmission on full version of the firmwares. #511

I have upgraded to the full version of the 3.0 firmware
(RT-N56U_3.0.2.6-018_full.zip). I was using mini version before. In this new
firmware I have an option to enable transmission on the webgui. However, if I
check this option, the log returns a message informing that the trasmission was
not found on the disk. How can I install transmission for using with the full
version of the firmwares? Currently I am using transmission installed by ipkg,
just like in mini builds.

Thank you very much.

Please create dir "transmission" in the root on target partition and restart
transmission.

ext4 partition - best choice for torrent downloads. ext4 support very fast
preallocation huge files.

Now I am using the built in transmission client of the firmware (instead of opt
ware). It is really faster than the older one (an newer). I also reformatted my
drive to ext4.

Thank you for your support. It helped a lot.

I would recommend to update the Optware Installation tutorial on the site.
Everything is considerably different now with the newer (and full) version of
the firmwares. It is hard to linux noobs like me to realized how to use
built-in transmission, etc.

Once again, thank you. Keep up the good work. The firmware is amazing.
