Foscam IP Camera recording on HDD #531

hey Team, 

you guys have done an awesome job in getting this router to function. i was 
amazed at the power of linux. 

I recently got an IP security camera from Foscam. i was looking at any option 
where i can manage the camera through router. For instance, i wanted to save 
the recording onto the usb HDD attached without a PC. 

It would great if someone can share some ideas on the same.

Plug the HD into the USB port on the router.
Setup a local FTP site within the router.

In the Foscam Web UI there are settings to send snapshots to the FTP site.  
Here is a link to a Foscam model.  Check out page 32.
