Problem opening file level.dat

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.When opening app on phone
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
could not load world level.dat 
filenotexception:mnt/sdcard/.minecraft/saves/world1 (no such file or directory)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Droid 2

Please provide any additional information below.
probably already explained but cant fix it though other similar problem 
posts..i made an world1 file in the saves but still didn't work

you made a folder or copied a level in? if it is a multi player world run it in 
single player and use that.

i cant open the minedroid at all, and i made a folder

what should happen upon first run is it will create a folder on the sd card for 
you. delete your .minecraft folder on your phone and start the program up a few 
times, then check using your computer whether it has created a folder 
.minecraft if not i will investigate more, if yes put a minecraft save named 
world1 into .minecraft/saves/ and it 'should' work. i might find older versions 
of the program for you to try if it fails but you will loose alot of features 
(temporary block editing, screen fixes, lots of things).
