Portal statistics never load #480

After going to view.ieeg.org, the portal statistics take a long time to load (> 
30 sec)

For me they never load.

We need to eliminate the byte count from the portal stats, it takes too long to 
calculate since it's going over all of the log entries. 

I don't think the byte count is being displayed anymore - but it's still being 
retrieved.
