Sun and Moon positions are calculated by Meeus algorithms. No ephemeries needed.

Not very clear, is there a requirements for an ephemerides database like Sweph? Or how is the position of the Moon calculated?

Nice. Thank you prabhu. How accurate are Meeus algorithms, how many years back can they be trusted?
It can be only estimated how accurate they are in the future, but the estimation for past and future range from -3000 to +3000 years.
The problem with accuracy is not simple topic, we have many variables there, including Dynamic time that is very non-periodic.
The best thing is the most demanding - to be always vigilant and aware of current astronomical observations.
