Apperance > Editor in WordPress showing empty index.php #229

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to Apperance > Editor and edit index.php

--

The editor in WP looks for the first available index.php and finds the one in
the cache folder which you create in TimThumb v2.x

Was reported by a confused WooThemes user who couldn't modify index.php

I suggest just removing index.php and keeping index.html

That's strange, it should only create an index.php in the cache directory. Mark
will have to look into this since he coded it. I will point him here :)

It is the one in the cache folder that WP is reading :) it takes the first
index.php it finds in the theme folder.

I know. That one is no longer being created. Are you saying the bug still is a
problem? Just delete index.php in the cache folder if you're still having
problems (after you're upgraded to the latest timthumb) and you should be all
set.
