Create a pool on Solend for PRT, yPRT and PAI

Background

Solend is rolling out permissionless pools for users to create their own pools in the week commencing 15th August 2022. There will be a lot of attention on new and innovative pools.

Proposal

It is proposed that a Parrot pool (either official or permissionless) be created on Solend for:

• PRT
• yPRT
• PAI

prtSOL and pSOL could also be considered as additional assets for a more interesting basket.

Users can deposit these assets to borrow against, for example: depositing PRT or PAI to borrow yPRT in order to earn yPRT rewards without staking.

An official pool for a protocol of a similar market cap and structure already exists (the BASIS pool with Basis, rBasis and USDC).

Benefits to Parrot Protocol:

• Lending yield and leverage stake opportunities for users
• Marketing exposure to new users
• Beneficial interaction with the wider ecosystem
• New (and potentially unexpected) use cases for Parrot ecosystem assets
