I took a look at Fictiv, a 3d printing SaaS platform, and it looks like they only handle profiles of 1mm or greater, but the parts require 0.2mm (especially the gears on the pulleys, it looks like). They also seemed pretty expensive with the pulleys I tested costing $8 per unit (~$6/unit if buying multiple).
So instead I think Moddler could be a good alternative, they seem closer to the laster cutters that I used in my other project: smaller, local in SF, will probably give us a hand if the files need tweaking at all and give us advice on what we're trying to accomplish. They might be even more expensive but they'll probably give us a better per-unit discount. I'll call them this week.
