DamnVid doesn't finish "starting up"/won't add videos to the list. #353

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start DamnVid

The "drop target" shows the animation used when you add a video and it
deterines its type..but it ever stops.

If theomputer isn['t online, it startsup but upon trying to add a URL, the
looping animation appears again, even once going online.

What is the expected behavior? What do you see instead?

The expected behavior is to see the animation briefly after startiung DamnVid
or adding a URL, then it'd show the cuurrent URLs waiting to be "converted" in
tthe list.

What version of DamnVid are you using? On what operating system? Better
yet, paste the system info that you see in the Bug Report dialog, if
possible.

DamnVid 1.6, 32-bit program

Please attach the file damnvid.log
That log attached.

Please provide any additional information below.

I ave a bigger og file from when I tried the "go offline first" idea; The log
showed an error about a "schema" or something:

Exception in thread Thread-2:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "threading.pyo", line 486, in __bootstrap_inner
  File "DamnVid.py", line 3559, in run

xmlns='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005'><error><domain>GData</domain><code>NoLo
ngerAvailableException</code><internalReason>No longer
available</internalReason></error></errors>", 'reason': 'Gone'}

This is just one of the few times this or something similar appears in the log;
I don't know if tthe YouTube plugin's outdated, so tht\a's why I' putting this
as a defect in the program.

I don't know why the problem happened before but it appears to not be happening
anymore; I wonder if a system restart "fixed" DamnVid...
