This is a short notification about current GOsa² 2.8 activities on the gosa* packages in Debian. At some point I will pour this into a range of PRs here on Github, but for now, please take note of our growing GOsa² 2.8 patchset:
Esp. on GOsa² core, we had to revert various patches the introduced the nested group feature (as it broke classical posixGroup objects in Debian Edu LDAP). But also other PHP 8 related issues have been resolved in gosa core (e.g. type mismatch problems when comparing empty string and int 0 (expecting them to be equal), etc.
