I'm sorry, I haven't a clue. In truth, I don't work in Ruby much any more.
However, if you can tell me what specific problems are you having, then I can try to resolve them.
None, your gemspec specifies 1.9.3, so I can't try it.
I've fixed the version issue so that it works on ">= 1.9.2" instead of "~> 1.9.2". The actual gem code works fine in Ruby 2.1.0 - the only problem being that you can't install the development requirement of TexPlay (used in the spec tests), since that uses old C API stuff.
I've pushed a new version of the gem.
