For identifying 'clusters' or sub-components, what would be a good starting point for "big enough" of a cluster size?

Notes from... Kevin and Dave's conversation.
Relative ranking of each CSA in terms of connectivity (Backbone of the network, preservation)
How well does this CSA backbone capture priority wildlife species needs?
GRSG genetics
Ungulate migration?
Connectivity between CSA to riparian areas (which areas are devoid of water)
Value of adjacent landscapes to overall connectivity (restoration)
Wildlife Considerations
GOA that connects the CSAs (restoration).
How does this relate to restoration areas in other groups? What areas are going to be prioritized for restoration anyway? How/Does connectivity influence its final ranking?
Climate corridors
Relative rankings
Intra vs inter
Thoughts on bounded vs unbounded decision space
What are the relative merits of riparian, wildlife, or climate?
How do we combine the various way that we could rank connectivity?
