tmux doesn't display contant via 3g vpn #641

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run tmux on server
2. connect to server via 3g vpn (local wifi works perfect)
3. run tmux attach

I expect to see a terminal content (I actually see it on my desktop display), 
but instead I see nothing but a cursor.

ConnectBot 1.7.1

It works if I try to connect via WiFi.
