I am really interested in managing that kind of metadata, but actually I don't
have
in mind to make it available in KeyNote, at least for a time.
As I said in the main page, my intention is to create a new application
(TESELA) more
general and flexible (at leat from my viewpoint). I have dedicated too much
time to
extend and correct KeyNote. I will not abandone it, I use it everyday. But,
certain
things can easily be done with other mechanisms. For example, I usually include
the
date and time of creation of the node with the help of a macro, and also create
the
nodes beginning with "(%D) -"
I want to dedicate more time to my other application (it is a little abandoned),
application that it will be open source, too.
I have deleted the file "Node information Panel.bmp" and uploaded again in .jpg
(it
was too big for just an image)
As an example of a basic and early prototype of TESELA, I have attached an
image. You
can see that each note (node) is structured in posts, each one showing the
date/time
of creating and the date/time of last modification.

I think the version in keynote 1.69 (Marek's version) looks good - think you
should
use this

Please, can you send me a very little .knt file created with KeyNote 1.6.9 to
see how
internally saves that information? I think it is sufficient with a pair of nodes

Pjcsoto, thanks for your information and images.
When I begin working on this issue I will install version 1.6.9 and will
analyze this functionality as offered in this version.

It sure would appreciate all users. Especially those who are already using this
feature often.
For now, for me the choice was a problem: if I chose Keynote NF lost that
functionality only (the other changes added for version 1.6.9. Was less), but I
found it very interesting and practical. If elected Keynote 1.6.9 lost the
features added by David Prado that complement so well the original performance
of the program.
By the way, information on the new developments are described in detail in the
first line of the file with information on historical changes
(http://www.tranglos.com/free/keynote_history.html). There Marek includes a
link to the installation package for version 1.6.9. within which contains the
executable and a text file detailing the changes in this release.
I'm using Keynote since version 1.2 and has long participated in the forums
working in the best of my ability with Marek contributing ideas or what I can
along with others. I have intention to join now and contribute my grain of sand
in the development of this project has been so well received even by its author.
My congratulations on what has been done so far. Although not yet fully able to
evaluate because of the problems mentioned have already noted the success of
ideas and the great value of innovations.
