Cannot remap Ctrl+V hotkey in Customize Keyboard #482

I am trying to remap "Ctrl+V" to be "Paste as Text" in Customize Keyboard. In
Keynote 1.6.9 this was possible.

However, whenever you remove the Ctrl+V hotkey from "Paste" and then hit OK and
go back into Customize Keyboard - the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+V" automatically
becomes reassociated with "Paste" and removed from any other associations.

Also, changing the key binding in the GUI does seem to change the values
correctly in keyboard.ini. However the keyboard.ini values for MMEditPaste
don't seem to be getting used.
MMEditPaste=0
MMEditPasteAsText=16470

For those of us who use Keynote in "Note Properties">"Advanced">"Plain Text
Only" mode - being able to have Ctrl+V paste in plain text is useful, otherwise
get stuff pasted with its coloring and formatting, etc which looks messy for
those of us wanting text-only notes.
