RaceRoom crashes on start when wheel is on #95

Since a while I have the problem RaceRoom is crashing once I powered on my wheel. Figured that out by simply forgetting to turn it on.

Is there a fix for that?

So the fix was comparable to one in the past.

what I had to do is starting game in Compatibility mode "Proton 6.3-8". It didn't realy start, but I left it alone for like 5 to 10 minutes. After that I hit the stop button in steam. After that I switched to "Proton 7.0-6" it looks like that did it.
