brightness set to high when calling or receiving call

Description:when you place a call, the brightness is too high. Maybe don't 
change it at all?

Phone brand (eg. Samsung Galaxy S4):Nexus 5

Android SDK (eg. 4.4.2):
Android L, others

Ready version (eg. build 14) - you can check the build version by swiping
right on the main screen from the left edge of the screen:

I have Ready as the default app for incoming/ outgoing calls. When I receive a 
call the phone's brightness level increases up to maximum. Even if I miss the 
call and power on (turning on the screen using power button) later, brightness 
level goes up overriding default system settings. 

Motorola Moto G XT1033
Android KitKat 4.4.4

Now it can be changed on the Settings screen.
