Quote Post Format #67

Tested out the post type for quote and don't see any distinction between this and a regular post. Same issue with Gather.

Have you coded for this? I haven't really used this feature, so not sure if I'm missing something.

Post format? No, haven't really done styling for this other than the default blockquote styling.

How do you envision this post format display?

I would think in a blockquote with a link reference.

We can't really parse out a citation without structured data. We could check to see if a "blockquote" tag is present in the content. If it isn't, we could wrap all the content in a blockquote. Does that sounds good?

That works. What do others do? The only reason I started going down this route was per your comment re: Tumblr. Realized I could use WP the same way I was using that (with the "Press This" feature).
