Liv to see if there's a Ruby on Rails volunteer who can take this as a project

Ganesh from the Data team can help with Ruby on Rails. How can we involve him? @anntixierServian will look after the requirement part from the data team

Reposted after logging off work account - will delete other post - cheers Provider_Mock_Dashboard_20210505.xlsx

Proposal of data points to capture for each data set : --> Provider / Owner for the Data set (to be used as filter for the dashboard on Provider page) --> Number of times the dataset was viewed / metadata page was called / read --> Number of times the dataset was downloaded / linked to a project by a competition team --> For data sets that were downloaded / linked to a project by a competition team, the linked team names --> From the above, count of datasets for a Provider / Owner by competition team (0 if a team used no dataset for that provider) --> For data sets that were downloaded / linked to a project by a competition team, the linked challenges names --> From the above, count of datasets for a Provider / Owner by challenge (0 if no team used any dataset of that provider for a given challenge)

See attached an Excel example of one of the many possible visualizations for these data points.

Remarks

1 - @iyertalks , @ooliviarr the above is intended as a High level guideline / suggestion.
Happy to answer questions / provide feedback / support data concerns through development.

2- if more advanced data modelling is required, I can look at detailing requirements - but would first require access to backend database / current data model documentation if any available.

3 - finally - this is MVP : if during development there are more data points that can be easily added - development team are welcome to flag it / bring them in, and I can adapt design.

Think @ooliviarr has confirmed this won't be something we can do this year so moving of the dev board.
