Each year hundreds of families come together to celebrate the harvest season and learn about local birds, nature, ecology, and wildlife. Over a dozen nature-oriented organizations will provide live animals demonstrations, educational presentations, free hands-on activities, an early morning bird walk, nestbox and bird feeder construction, face painting, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, live entertainment, games, and more. Don't miss out on the fun! October 20, 2018 10 AM to 3 PM Blackberry Farm 21979 San Fernando Ave, Cupertino, CA 95014 Location and Parking Wildlife & Harvest Day festivities are located at Blackberry Farm. There is limited onsite parking at Blackberry Farm, plenty of additional parking a short walk away at Monta Vista High School. Wildlife & Harvest Day Logo Contest Young artists in grades preschool through twelve (ages 5-18 years old) can participate in this yearly art contest to develop a logo for Wildlife & Harvest Day. All artwork features native California wildlife. The winning logo will be printed and displayed on event flyers, posters, T-shirts, and used in other promotions. The deadline for submissions has now passed. See below for the winners for this year's contest! www.scvas.org/WildlifeDay Morning Bird Walk (prior sign-up required) "Early Birds" can join a guided bird walk from 8:00 to 9:45 AM at Charleston Slough in Mountain View. Welcome Kindergarten parents. Simply using GitHub as a chat forum. We can empathize, relate to one another as we see fit. The goal of this forum is to help organize social events for children and parents in a common forum.
For now, this GitHub account is now PRIVATE. However, if we want to delve into topics specific to children with children's names, etc; be cognizant that private is always relative. Contact as you see fit with your preference and we will uphold a need for additional anonymity (i.e., additional protocols).
