Upgrade Gphoto2 on Onion Omega2 OpenWRT hardware #549

Hello,

Im trying to experiment with using gphoto on Onion Omega2 hardware. That hardware uses Embedded OpenWRT linux.

They have a version of gphoto2 that comes with their docker version of OpenWRT, but that version of gphoto was written back in 2017

How do I upgrade that package to the latest version?

Is there a way to upgrade gphoto in general on OpenWRT to use the latest version of gphoto?

That's a question for those that make the distribution.

But isnt there a way to update the distribution? Shouldn't it work the same way no matter which distribution?

We are not familar with OpenWRT packaging, and libgphoto2 for it was not packaged by the libgphoto2 team.

You need to find out who packaged it there and contact that person.
