General Question: What camera's have the most functionality with Gphoto? #552

I work with camera's for a capture-on-trigger purpose, which downloads the photos and sends them back to the server.

I have recently been trying to get more functionality out of gphoto however I feel like the cameras I use limit this.

I'm currently using: Nikon D300 Nikon D300s Nikon D7500 Nikon D5600

Is there any cameras which work best with gphoto? My basic necessities are that the camera can shoot on trigger and transfer the photos without having to manually switch any options on the camera.

Nikon is very well supported, Canon EOS also. Sony Alpha I would say a bit less well working (it will work, but it has some specialities that might risk stability).

So you are currently well set with your choice of Nikon I would say.
