The function for updating GPI is outdated, but needs to be restored before we start distributing GPI as an application. ~This function lives in library.py, I think.~ This functionality lives in update.py We should just need to point it to the correct conda update commands (including gpi_core, now) and take care of any channel or path linking changes.
