on my own behalf i consider it fundamental, not only to allow matrix calculation with code similar to opencl using gpu.js, but also:

of course this is work on the longer run and demands effort, and so on so forth

Would you be willing to help bring this capability into GPU.js?

I would love to. problem is i don't have the enough know how to do so. but if you think this is an advantage for gpu.js, please don't throw away this issue, and keep it. because i am sure, that if the ccommunity thinks it's a good idea, someone will grasp it and will develop it
