I know it has been a long time since you make this PR. Somehow I overlook it and didn´t give the attention it deserved.
If you are willing to give it a try again, we can work and try to include the airzone cloud into this component.
However, the first step would be to move all the cloud request and management to the python-airzone repo as that is the right place to manage that part of the integration. Once it is integrated there the code in homeassistant-airzone should be very easy and straightforward.
As I don´t have airzone cloud I can´t test or implement this properly but I will try to do my best if you want to keep working.
