• Perspectives in Ecology and Conservation (will cost $0 for open access, max. 5k words, but not very widely read - I think)
• Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution (will cost $1150, max. 3k words, somewhat cool)
• Wiley's Ecology and Evolution (not sure if any of the paper types fits a perspective, no words limit, will cost ~$1700)
• ~Trends in Ecology and Evolution~ (will nor accept more than 3 authors on perspective paper)
• Ecological Modelling
• Global Ecology and Biogeography (could be a "ecological soundings" - max.2k words - or a "concepts" - max. 5k words; will cost impressive $3650 for open access - I can pay almost 7 months of my current living costs with this money)
