Update to latest stable Gradle
Update to latest stable Kotlin
Fix indentation of multi-line expected Strings
Stop using kotlin-dsl plugin when the regular kotlin plugin is all that's being used
Fix a couple deprecations
Declare dependency versions DRYly in the root build.gradle

@eriwen thanks for taking a look. My understanding is that the kotlin-dsl plugin only provides value to gradle plugin development, which this isn't. None of the code changes were related to the kotlin-dsl plugins absence, as its functionality was not being used.
