@wetterfrosch asked if this program would still work with recent versions of Grafana. My answer was that I don't believe so, the Javascript addon grafana-studio.js will probably croak because it was conceived back in 2019 to work with Grafana version 5.
This patch is an attempt to get the program up to speed with both Python 3 and Grafana 6, 7 and 8.
