This merge does the following:

updates the protobuf, so there is the streaming service now
It contains a lot of experimentation to figure out why timestamps were not being handled properly. In the end, not doing anything new, but have some more flexibility in parsing the timestamps. See DataFrame.cs
cleanup in the front end to remove unnecessary controls.
