Today (April 1st, 2015) (no this isn't an april fools) I installed fontforge via brew then followed the instructions here. The output of brew info fontforge differed to that stated in the readme: the first date is later. Perhaps the commands set out in the README don't update a stored key that is set when brew install happens?

It works though, so perhaps that date doesn't matter and can be removed from the README.
