Control the size/aspect of the vector and/or cones #6

I would like to suggest the developers to add an option/feature in order to control the size/aspect of the vector/cones. E.g, control of the size of the vector head and tail, the tail to head relative size, the number of vectors (one vector every n cells), etc. Thanks

I've added a number of controls for the vector geometry. They are found in the "Sprite" panel of the preferences dialog. Subsampling has been added (from issue #7) as a menu option with keyboard shortcuts. I'll put this into a 2.1 build in the next day or two!
