Implement a Connect button for Link Encoder #43

We have been connecting to the link encoder by hitting send. I think we need a dedicated button to connect to the link encoder instead. This will also help with #34 because of our current implementation

Made a button with the text "connect" that changes to "disconnect" on click. Currently investigating on how to use this button with the backend
