More improvement suggestions :-) #5

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Remote control jar 1.01(23) on Nokia N97.

Please provide any additional information below.

Application runs fine and sends keys to daemon OK. The N97 is a fullscreen
touchscreen, though, albeit with a physical keyboard hidden underneath.

As it's not possible to get a keypad on-screen, it would be very useful to
have more on-screen buttons in the application - I only get the virtual
directional pad and the ABCD buttons, which is presumably automagical.
Perhaps a dedicated touchscreen-only version ?

What's interesting, though, is that when I flip the phone open, almost the
entire keyboard is recognised, and sent as KEY_a etc. The real directional
pad also works, except for the center button, which unfortunately triggers
a new bluetooth discovery sequence. The virtual pad The enter and backspace
keys, as well as the space key, end up in the log as KEY_ - a bit useless :-D

Another useful thing, would be to allow "permanent" pairings, so you don't
have to go through the entire detect-scan sequence every time. This should
include a priority list, and a manual reselect option if the first detected
device isn't the one you want, maybe even with 4 or so "quick-switch"
buttons on-screen.

A very useful thing, though, and I'll happily be using it :-)
