Hi Hedvig,

I was testing the varying parameters for spatial distances in this branch, which is now out of sync. i think it would be good to merge these changes since they make the plot we have in the SM.

But happy to think of alternatives if that is too difficult.

Yes, great. short-lived branches are good, we don't want to get out of sync to fast. I'll have a look asap.

@SamPassmore I've merged this branch in. I'll leave it to you to decide if you want to delete the branch or not.
