Cannot get xml from thetvdb.com

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open program
2. Scan for new episodes 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecting to see downloading och episode info.
Instead I see an error saying that there are multiple root elements. Line 2
position 2.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Tried both stable 2.1 release and new 2.2.0a7 release.
Running Windows 7 x64.
Tried both as administrator and to run normally.

Please provide any additional information below.
I did some searching by running the svn in debug mode and the xml-response
seems to say "Sql-error, too many connections" instead of giving the normal
xml-file.
Maybe some error on thetvdbs part but a better error message and/or
defaulting to offline mode would be nice.

I get the same issue with most queries.  Some searches come back OK, most die.  
Tried
both 2.1 and 2.2.0a7 on Windows 7 x64.
