HoverZoom totally unfonctionnal on chrome dev and osx. #202

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open any webpage where hoverzoom used to work (reddit frontpage)
2. Try to use ho verzoom
3. Doesn't work

Hover Zoom version: 3.7
Google Chrome version: 18.0.1003.1 dev
Operating system: OSX 10.7

The JS console gives this error on line 28 of hoverzoom.js.
ReferenceError: $ is not defined

Also tried on chrome beta and chrome stable, deleting the profile in ~/library 
each time.

My bad, it works on stable, does not on dev or beta, so not really an issue 
except for early adopters.

Chrome 18.0.1003.1 dev, does not work on either reddit or facebook.
