No zoom in Google Reader for quickmeme.com

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Subscribe to http://www.reddit.com/r/meme/.rss in Google Reader
2. Scroll through the list hovering on each [link] to zoom images
3. Any images at quickmeme.com or qkme.me will not zoom, but all the others 
will.

The odd thing is that all the quickmeme.com/qkme.me links zoom properly when 
you hover on them at http://www.reddit.com/r/meme, they just don't work in 
Google Reader.

Hover Zoom version: 3.8
Google Chrome version: 16.0.912.77 m
Operating system: Windows XP SP3

Please DO NOT close this issue.

Even though Google Reader is going away, it is not working in:

* TheOldReader (the theoldreader.com , a common replacement)

* In Gmail , when using RSS-to-Email

When hovering over the link in an RSS Reader or a link in Gmail, it is not 
working, but it's working on Reddit's page.

Please DO NOT CLOSE this issue.

It's a serious concern.
